However, this mostly depends on whether your website receives significant, or at least, noticeable traffic. After all, you would not want to show a stable hit counter of 500 hits, would you ?

If you do get enough traffic so that the hits grow more and more every day, you may want to think about adding a counter. As with other techniques, like showing your twitter followers on your website or your feeburner subscribers, it’s always important that you already get enough people that proove you socially.

It occurred to me that many people would want to know how to do something like that and therefore i decided to create a post in order to simplify the process for those that need to do it.

It would definately be a good idea that you read this simple introduction to HTML before attempting to create your banners. However, even if you do not have any programming experience, creating your banners is very easy.

Nobody would want to write a post for a forum that does not involve lots of people participating. Therefore, you have to be patient and wait for the proper timing to do that. When you feel that you have established traffic, however, it would most probably be a nice idea to include a forum where people can interact with each other.
